Hi guys! Welcome to week 69 of Thrift Score Thursday, the internet’s funnest hashtag party in celebration of vintage and thrifted finds.
You can join in by sharing your own recent thrifty finds on Instagram and Twitter using #thriftscorethursday!
The Facts:
- You can share any thrifty finds with us – whether they hail from a thrift store, Craigslist, estate sale, garage sale, side of the road, or apartment dumpster! The fun, the funny, the awesome, the odd – this hashtag party is open to all!
- Feel free to use #thriftscorethursday any day of the week! We’ll be keeping up with the hashtag all week long to find our favorites for the following Thursday.
- Each week, Trisha from Black and White Obsession, Cassie from Primitive and Proper, Corinna from For My Love Of and I (plus a special weekly guest host!) will pick a few favorite thrift scores to feature! So please note that by linking up with#thriftscorethursday, you are giving us permission to share your finds via social media or on our blogs.
The Features:
Check out Shannon’s (Instagram: aninspirednest) mega thrift haul! This is the result of two estate sales, a barn sale, a thrift store and at least five garage sales – such dedication! Who else would just die for the chance to follow Shannon around on her thrifting adventures?
This little brass fox shared by Amber (Instagram: ajbyce) is just too adorable! He’s got a little attitude, and I love it.
My mouth dropped open when I saw this gorgeous mantle shot shared by Rhiann from Quince Cottage (Instagram: quince_cottage). Vintage milk bottles + flowers make the most beautiful display! Bonus fact: she shared in a comment that the mirror was actually free!
Kayla from The Gilded Bear (Instagram: thegildedbear) shared a peek into her lovely living room, where almost everything is a thrift find – the sofas, end tales, coffee table, lamps and artwork! Proof that you can assemble a beautiful space on any budget with patience and perseverance!
My Find:
I actually found this brass compass rose wall hanging on the same day I found the ship’s wheel clock, but at a different thrift store – I guess it was just the day for nautical finds!
A quick Google search for “brass compass rose” reveals that this find probably isn’t vintage. If you’re dying for one of your own, you can find a new one for $30-$50. I think I only paid around $5, so I’m pretty happy with my find!
So what have you found lately? I can’t wait to see!

This week, we are honored to have Pam from Simple Details joining us as our guest host!
Pam is the thrifting queen herself – you can see many of her finds in her gorgeous summer home tour.
Be sure to check out the finds and features from Cassie, Corinna & Trisha!
P.S. Are you a blogger who also love thrifty finds? We’d love to have you join us for a week of Thrift Score Thursday! If you’re interested, send me a message!
oh my GOSH! your find would look awesome in my gallery wall. 😉 LOVE it! and we had very similar features!
I wonder what shipping would be? It’s pretty heavy… But I do agree it really needs to join your gallery wall! It’s actually homeless over here right now…
Awesome finds all around! I would love to find a gaggle of globes. 🙂 And that brass fox is a cutie–never seen one of those before. Lots of brass goodies this week!
I’m always a sucker for brass finds – I can’t resist! I’m working on rounding out my brass zoo over here, so I’m especially jealous of that fox!
Love the fox so much
Me too! I desperately need to find one for myself! 🙂
I would fly out to go thrifting with Shannon!! That fox looks so mischievous (and perfectly paired with that stack of books). So lucky to find both nautical pieces on the same thrifting haul.
She’s actually not *too* far from me, so you head this way, and then we’ll head over there and bask in her thrifting wisdom! Sound like a plan?
Wow, what a great find Brynne!! I agree with Cassie perfect for a gallery wall, or bathroom, or outside by your front door. 🙂 I shared that cute little fox too. I love your Thrift Score Thursday series and was honored to join in the fun with all of you, thanks!!
Thank you Pam! I might just need to find a way to get it to Cassie…
And we’re so SO glad you joined us this week!
Oh, hello, little brass fox–I love you!
Adding a brass fox to my “must acquire” list!
Super cute. It looks vintage, so you didn’t have to admit anything to us! 😉
Haha. It’s a pet peeve of mine when something is called vintage but it really isn’t… I found one of these on Etsy being sold as vintage for $40 and then I found it new on Amazon for $30!
The details! Looks cool enough to be vintage! I guess they’re getting better and better at emulating the look.
Haha. It fooled me at first! But I love brass so much, I’ll pick it up no matter what 🙂
SO many great finds this week! I love the 3 vintage globes, and that fox is so cute!
Agreed! There’s always so much inspiration to be found in the #thriftscorethursday feed!
