Happy Thursday friends! Good week so far?
I might be a little biased because it was my birthday yesterday (did you see my Instagram post where I shared a few facts about myself?) and because I’ve been finding some fantastic things for the house lately… so overall I’d say it’s been a lovely week!
My Find:
You guys, I was so excited when I found this little malachite and brass trinket dish/bowl/box (whatever you would call it)! I seriously couldn’t even believe it – this malachite-loving girl has never been lucky enough to find the real thing before. It felt like a birthday present from the universe, just sitting there on the shelf waiting for me!
It’s covered with slices of malachite inside and out, top and bottom!

Also thrift finds: the table cloth, hot pink vintage book, and marble vase that was a thrifted gift from a sweet friend!
Thrift Score Thursday Features
And now for this week’s features from the #thriftscorethursday Instagram feed!
Are you following the wonderful Rosie (@rosie.case) yet? This local DFW gal has the most stunning neutral modern glam style and I periodically go through and just drool over all her photos. Love this footed brass duck she recently found!

And I am just all about carved wooden statues right now! How amazing is this sultry mermaid just hanging out on Whitney (@heavythreads)’s hearth?

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of beautiful compilations of vintage art. These pieces from Juls (@ourgentlemadness) are lovely individually, but also almost create a new piece of art grouped together like this!
Taking in this gorgeous shot from Katie (@thetangledlady), I wonder how the decorating world could have turned its back on oak and wood tones for so long? I love the way everything works together on her mantel and hearth!

Again, making my case for embracing wood tones, is this dining nook from Susie (@susiebrown), featuring a thrifted rattan pendant and Mid-Century chairs she found on Craigslist. So good!

Can you believe the things some people just throw away? These rattan sectional pieces Astrid (@insieme_house) shared literally came out of the trash – thankfully her husband rescued them for their back deck!

I always love seeing what Rafael (@thebeauideal) is finding, but I especially adore this shot of his view from the couch in his living room, full of incredible vintage finds! I think that lucite/glass obelisk needs to join my collection, don’t you?

I love those little bowls. I need them to go with my malachite tray! I also want to say I thought of you immediately when I say that obelisk on Thebeauideal’s coffee table. I’ll let you have it if I can have the rest of the room! Such great finds.
