It’s week 7 of #thriftscorethursday which is just crazy to me because I can’t believe we’ve been doing this for almost two months! Each week after I look through all the #thriftscorethursday posts, I’m inspired/compelled to open up Craigslist and start searching or head out to Goodwill the next morning!

The Features:
I love the gorgeous art Renée (itsmerenee) shared! She actually scored two of those ornate frames with vintage style bird art inside for just $25 at the Salvation Army!
P.S. Be sure to stop by her new blog to see her stunning lifestyle photography and interior design!
Sabrina (futuristichuman) is my new Instagram crush. She has amazing taste and style and posts gorgeous midcentury finds that she refinishes and restores! I am obsessed with this teak secretary she shared – isn’t it amazing?
My Find:
I’m sharing a little find this week…
This vintage metal globe bank is only around 5” tall. I love the bright colors! Unfortunately it must have led a bit of a rough life as it has several dents along the sides… Meteor strikes, perhaps? 😉
You actually already saw this globe in Monday’s post – did you spot it? To save you from having to scroll back, I’ll post it again:
Up on the top right shelf, and not to be confused with “big mama globe” on the top left, also a thrift score! I don’t think two globes quite qualifies as a globe collection, so perhaps I should find a few more and maybe then I’d be as cool as Michelle…
So what about you guys? What did you find this week?
That teak secretary desk is so amazing. Makes me want to throw mine out to the curb. I think I need to hunt for a new one now
Oh no! You have the thriftscorethursday itch 😉 I saw a desk like that advertised at an estate sale once, but I was too lazy to get up at the crack of dawn on a Saturday on the off chance that I could snatch it up!
oh i love that teak piece, too! and love the artwork!
Gosh every week, y'all are opening up my furniture vocabulary! Teak secretary, wow that thing is GORGEOUS!
And that globe, I must have missed that it's actually a bank the first time I read through. What an adorable little piece. Oh and Michelle's collection– that's impressive!
I KNOW, right? She's an Instagrammer to follow for sure!
I love picking up little pieces like the globe bank that aren't particularly special/valuable but are great for adding to shelves and vignettes!
I did, at first, confuse the two globes. I love how small this one is. So great!
I am jealous of those frames that were scored. I am always on the lookout for gold and silver ornate frames. That was a great find!
I love these posts! It is so fun to see what everyone got!

I never thought I'd read "cool as Michelle" without a "not" in front. 😛 Great finds. I'm sad my globe hunting days are over. Good luck!
