Are you ready to join the #thriftscorethursday fun, hosted each week by myself, Trisha from Black and White Obsession, and Megan from Rental Revival?
Simply snap a picture of any thrifty find or thrifted treasure and use #thriftscorethursday when you share on Twitter or Instagram!

The Features:
Vanessa from Tried and True (Instagram: triedandtrueblog) always has some great thrift scores to share! From awesome 70’s pony print fabric to these awesome retro snack canisters… I love the colors! Check out her Instagram feed for more great finds.
I have a sickness, you guys, and it is a complete and total weakness when it comes to anything brass. I stock up on brass like it’s going out of style. (Wait?! What?! What does that expression even mean?) Like there’s a Great Brass Shortage of 2014 and only shiny gold objects can get me through the long cold winter…
All that is to say, I’m very predictably obsessed with this brasstastic midcentury floor lamp Sabrina from Retro Future Furniture (Instagram: futuristichuman) shared. It is rad. I showed the picture to my own brass midcentury floor lamp and I think it had a bit of an identity crisis…
My Find:
It’s brass. You aren’t surprised one bit.
But it’s a brass roadrunner. I bet you weren’t expecting that!
A figure skating brass roadrunner and a topsy turvy cactus. My life is complete.
Just kidding. Now I’ve decided that I obviously need a brass coyote as well.
Be sure to check out the finds and features from Trisha too!

We were JUST watching an episode of The New Girl and it was the wolf episode where Jess was so scared she exclaimed "Meep Meep." I was dying!! What I really meant to say was I kinda want to reach through the screen and steal it!!
Hahaha – awesome! We love New Girl over here 🙂
I love the road runner, you know it.
And I also am a sucker for awesome canisters.
We used to have road runners in the town I grew up in and I've always had a soft spot for them!
oh i love the roadrunner!!!!! you know i have a very healthy relationship with brass, too. i found an elephant, a mouse, a duck, and some rabbits last weekend! i have stopped keeping them all though- i mean, i need to share the love i suppose.
Did I spy a brass pheasant in one of your pictures too? I found of those at the thrift store yesterday – no brass animal left behind! And by "stopped keeping them all" do you mean "am going to start sending them to my friend Brynne out of the goodness of my heart"? 😉
your finds are amazing! I actually found something for today. Not nearly as awesome as what you got, but at least I am participating, right 🙂 I will Instagram it after I photograph it later today 🙂 Love all your brassy finds my friend 🙂
Woohoo! I can't wait to see Katja!
road runner!!! how fun Brynne 🙂
Thanks Kristin! 🙂
Just no words. Why did I meet you for dinner? We should have gone shopping?!?!
oh, my! Roadrunner! I love him! LOVE him. so much.
I love it all! You have a great eye!
You know that would be perfect in our home, right? I mean, we live in the desert and practically have roadrunners stop by for dinner every night (to have dinner, not to eat them for dinner 😉 ). So jealous of your score! I need to go thrifting now…
