The Features:
Melissa from The Sweet Escape (Instagram: sweet_escape_) has a killer eye for vintage pieces, design, and photography. You are going to want to follow her Instagram feed – total eye candy! She shared two gorgeous green finds that I loved so much I had no choice but to feature both of them!
Last week I shared my own thrift score lamp pair, but I’ll confess – I’d trade them for these midcentury beauties in a heartbeat:
And I love the gorgeous glaze on this unique pottery holder, especially paired with that gold flatware! Gorgeous!
Way back for Thrift Score Thursday Week 3, I featured an awesome glass hippo cookie jar from Turena (Instagram: tsfinds). Well, would you believe it – this week, she scored a matching glass owl jar! I think this is the start of a fantastic collection, Turena 🙂
My Find:
My #thriftscorethursday find this week is a little oddball, but I love it! I spotted this little leopard sitting on the shelf at Goodwill a few weeks ago, thought it was adorable, put it in my basket, carried it around the store, and then decided not to buy anything that day because the lines were long and really – did I really need another animal figurine? (Um, yes, Brynne. You do. Always.)
When I went back the following week and the little leopard was still there, I knew I had to take him home this time. Something about the sweet hand painted face and those little black polka dots… What can I say, I’m obsessed.
I got him home and plopped him on my dresser next to this serendipitously pooled pearl necklace and loved the combo so much I think I’ll have to leave my jewelry sitting out permanently!

Please reign in your interventions. My animal figurine purchases are hardly out of control yet. I mean, I only have a life-size Boston terrier statue, white ceramic otter, brass deer pair, brass ibex, brass swan pair, ceramic deer, and little rabbit pitcher… There’s totally room for more in my menagerie!
Well now I want to hear from you! Did you thrift this week? What did you score?

Be sure to hurry over and check out the finds and features from Megan & Trisha too!

i love the glass hippo jar from way back when! and digging those lamps!
The little leopard is so cute! He looks like a baby! <3 <3
Also, I totally love those green lamps but I didn't feature them because I knew you would… hehehehe 🙂
Haha, yep, total dibs on those lamps! 🙂
Queue the awe's girl!! I must say that pearl necklace totally adds to his charm!
And girl, we both totally featured Melissa. I too have a thing for her photography, I *guess* there's room for yet another girl crush…
Now I just have to leave the necklace laying around all the time 😉 Love Melissa's instagram!
Those lamps are awesome. I can only say – just like last Thursday – I really need to go thrifting some more. So many great finds to be found 🙂
Sometimes I can hardly go about my day thinking of all the awesome finds I *might* be missing out on 😉
Thrifting is the best thing ever! Love your finds!
I so agree, Kristin!
I too love the lamps! Sooooo, drooling….they would look so good in my house.
Mine too! They are soooo gorgeous!
I like Thrift Score Thursday because it reminds me that I need to buy things at the thrift store EVERY week 😉
It's pretty much my calling in life to be an enabler and coach people into feeding all sorts of addictions – gold leaf, brass, thrifting, ceramic animals… You're welcome 😉
Love the leopard and I really want those green lamps.
Maybe I can find something this weekend with my Goodwill app on our trip 😉
Rad treasures!!
