The Features:
Corinna from For My Love Of (Instagram: formyloveof) has some pretty sweet midcentury luck – I featured her lovely china cabinet find for Thrift Score Thursday 5. Check out this credenza she shared last week – aren’t those doors awesome? Pretty wood grain!
Debra from Eve Isle Studios (Instagram: eveislestudios) shared some awesome thrift finds last week on Instagram! My favorite was this pair of brass fighting roosters (Eek! Brass!). I actually spotted an identical pair on my local Craigslist recently and I’m kicking myself for not picking them up!
My find:
I’ve never seen one of these “100 year calendars” before I found two of these at Goodwill last week! I pounced on them and threw them in my basket before even checking the price tags. I assumed they would be fairly expensive (our Goodwill sometimes thinks it’s Neiman Marcus… we’re talking $8 for a printed dish, $50 for a creepy clown painting…), so I was excited to see they were labeled at $1.99 each!
They’re chilling on the dining room mantel because I just love the colors in there!
Have you ever seen anything like these? I’m mesmerized by the way they work!
Well, now I want to hear from you! Did you thrift this week? What did you find?
Be sure to hurry over and check out the finds and features from Trisha and Megan too!

Yay, siblings to my fighting roosters!
those calendars are so fun!!!! and you know how i feel about anything brass animal related.
Brass animals forever!
Fun! Great finds!
Thanks Kristin 🙂
I have never seen calendars like that before. What a score 🙂
I couldn't grab them fast enough 🙂 I don't "need" one, let alone two, but I sure want them! 🙂
Seriously, those are absolutely gorgeous! The only thing I've seen similar to that is the astrological calendars. I remember spotting one at a Renaissance Faire and they were well over $200 (brand new). All the pieces on it were tiny and had tons of meaning.
Ooh, those sound pretty sweet Trisha! I looked these guys up on Etsy and there are some pretty awesome versions! I might need to start a new collection…
What the what? Those calendars are amazing! I've never seen anything like them. Consider me jealous!
Thanks Michelle 🙂
I love this series!
Yay! I'm so glad Caroline 🙂
Love those calendars! They are gorgeous. They go perfectly in your dining room. I have never seen those before. What a steal!

I have to go thrift shopping! Our Goodwill does the same high price thing sometimes.
