Happy Thursday friends!
How have you been? There’s been a whole lot going on over here that I’m eager to share with you guys soon – but suffice it to say, good things have been happening and I just hope your week has been going as well as mine has!
(P.S. To my fellow nerds… Happy Star Wars Day! May the Fourth be with you ?)
Thrift Score Thursday Features:
Are you ready to see the beautiful finds and spaces I’ve been loving in the #thriftscorethursday feed on Instagram? Each week, I so enjoy combing through all your photos and seeing the fruits of your treasure-hunting excursions!
It’s always so hard to narrow it down to a manageable handful of features, so just know that there are so many others I loved too – if you haven’t had a chance to take a peek at the hashtag in a while, it’s well worth it! Even if you don’t have an Instagram account, you can view the posts here!
Let’s start with this fabulous space from Natasha (@natasha.meininger)! Fingers crossed you get to see the rest of her space as part of a future Your Gathered Home tour – the way she brings together all sorts of vintage finds is beyond inspiring! In this space, so many things you see were thrift scores: from the ram on the wall to the art to the bar cart to the sofa to the coffee table and the plant stands!
I can always count on Claire (@clairedesignsthings) for a beautiful blend of vintage and modern decor with a bright and colorful color palette! Vintage paintings, textiles, a 3D plaque, and modern prints and pieces combine in this perfectly laid out gallery wall!
Isn’t this sunroom from Diane (@therathproject) just so warm and welcoming? There are so many incredible ideas to steal/politely borrow! Where to start? With that fabulously sculptural stack of backwards-facing books? The white bust? The club chair? The angled vintage rug? The coffee table she scored at the Habitat for Humanity Restore? Soak it in and go forth and thrift!

I could just move right in to this sunlit corner shared by Summer (@a.summer.adventure)! This warm area is decorated with tons of beautiful finds – like her vintage French toile coffee table found at a flea market in Germany! Or that stunning giant vintage German school map… Or the beautiful Bavarian buffet that was actually bought in San Antonio… Or the vintage wicker chair!
Caitlin (@indigo0ocean) has the best caption ever for this photo!
I told my husband I was going grocery shopping and came walking up to the door with this chair! #storyofmylife
Don’t we all know how that goes?

Just check out all these beautiful textures in this shot from Elizabeth (@elizabethanne71)! Chinoiserie pottery + sculptural objects + a round mirror is always a great combination!

Kimberly (@kimberlyswedelius) has my dream “library”! Antique piano meets vintage art and embroidery, a brass stag, stacks of beautiful old books, and the perfect dark wall color!
I fell head over heels for this chunky caramel-colored chair Jo (@jmwearing) snatched up at an estate sale! It’s not like I need ANY more chairs in my home, but if I found one like this, I can tell you it would certainly be coming home with me… No ifs, ands, or buts!

And just to make sure you get your proper fill of beautiful chair finds… @bellafloradesign shared her first MCM chair thrift that she’s had for over fifteen years – this stunning Le Corbusier lounge chair that sits in her living room! Doesn’t this look like the most amazing place to enjoy a cup of coffee and a good read?
My Find:
I’m still working on the master bedroom and I’m not quite ready to reveal it just yet… But I can show you what I ended up doing with that beautiful glass-sided cabinet I found a few months ago!
Here it is, filled up with pretty shoes and staged with a few other recent thrift finds. The antique trunk has a label on it dated 4-11-16, which prompted a crazy realization – that date came back around a SECOND time last year! Also, it has the previous owners name and address from New Haven, Connecticut – which just so happens to be where I was born…
So basically, this find was seriously meant to be! I watched a guy at the Habitat Restore pick it up and consider it before setting it back down, so I swooped in and grabbed it once he walked away!
The leopard statue was another recent Goodwill find – $6.99 you guys!- and has been named Hatshepsut thanks to some fabulous suggestions on Instagram!

Wow, I’m honored you picked mine as one of your features, along side all of these beautifully collected rooms! I have always loved the hunt of rummaging through garage sales, thrift stores, and even people’s garages from Craigslist posts, hah! Thanks Brynne 🙂
Oh so many great inspiring spaces and things I want.
That cabinet is perfection. And your shoe collection– fabulous!
