Hello my friends! I hope this week has been treating you well and that you’re psyched and ready for another Thrift Score Thursday party!
My Find:
You guys know me by now. I can’t resist brass animals. Can’t even. They call out to me and beg me to take them home and let them join The Gathered Home menagerie.
This little guy was even leaping for joy when I found him at Goodwill…
How could I resist?
Although I discovered on Chairish that he’s actually supposed to be one of a pair, so now I’ve added “Find other vintage brass leaping gazelle” to my bucket list.
A little far-fetched, to be sure, but I’ve learned that you just never can tell what you might find!
The Features:
Ready for more inspiration to rev your thrifting engines?
Let’s start the day off right with this collection of adorable mushroom figurines Jenn (@suite22antiques) found at an estate sale! If you aren’t already following her on Instagram, you definitely should – her photography is a loving tribute to all the wonderful vintage finds she collects!
I always love seeing uses for vintage soda crates! I sometimes wonder what I would do with all the little cubbies – Karrie Anne (@the.holland.house) had the perfect idea with this collection of bottle brush trees in a vintage Coca Cola crate!
This is a find that’s on my own thrifting wishlist! Brittany (@frogpaw) shared her new (vintage) six foot aluminum Christmas tree find in all its glistening, fringe-y glory. I am very jealous over here!
Finally, Lindsey (@lindseymadsendesign) snagged this striking mid century throne of a chair at the thrift store! She plans to recover it in either leather or linen… I can’t wait to see the finished product!

BAHAHA and we are back to having 3 of the same features and i thought for sure we might differ since i had a tough time choosing! LOVE love love the gazelle! just when i thought i was done gathering brass animals, now i have to add “find a brass gazelle, and maybe even a pair” to my own bucket list.
I have a slight toadstool obsession which still goes back to Germany so I’m feeling those mushrooms big time.
Those bottle brush trees are too, too sweet. And, of course, nothing better than a brass menagerie.
Count me in on the group of brass animal lovers–your find is soooo perfect!
That bottle brush display is super cute in the coke crate. What a great idea! Thank you for letting me co-host!
ooh, great stuff this week! Those mushrooms are fabulous. And I’m envisioning a crate like that for my christmas village next year maybe. I can’t do dinosaurs every year; I need a new trick 😉
How did I miss the soda crate and bottle brush trees! That is the cutest little display. And I love your leaping gazelle. A real cutie!
The aluminum Christmas tree brought back wonderful memories as a child we had the same one growing up in New jersey. I love the chair! as well.
I would really love to find an aluminum Christmas tree myself one day! They are so much fun!
