Good morning and a happy Thrift Score Thursday to you!
I’m so excited to keep sharing the treasures I brought home from my grandparents’ basement!
I carefully stowed these two little pots (? I’m actually not sure exactly what to call them) away in my suitcase. I wrapped them up in newspaper and then several t-shirts and thankfully they made it home safely!
They are perfect here on my nightstand, where I use them to hold my bobby pins and hair bands, two things that seem to multiply and end up scattered everywhere when I don’t have a designated place to drop them at the end of the day!
I shared these brass cranes for Thrift Score Thursday almost a year ago. They’ve been floating around the house from vignette to vignette, because that’s how I roll – everything’s constantly in flux around here, decor-wise!
The Features:
You guys! love_recycled really hit a jackpot of thrifting awesomeness here! My favorite is the huge brass container with that lovely brick pattern. I’m not sure exactly what it is, but it reminds me of a ginger jar and I love it!
Sabrina (futuristichuman) is always knocking my socks off with her stunning vintage finds! I absolutely adore this Mid Century walnut daybed she found and revamped!
It’s official – I just love everything Emily (watassa) does/finds! She shared that the circumstances surrounding these finds at a estate sale were a little disconcerting, but I’m so glad she persevered and was able to share her gorgeous gatherings with us!
Alright. Stop everything you’re doing and go follow Meghan (mvalentinegifford) right now! Thank me later. I discovered this talented designer via the #thriftscorethursday feed and I am so very glad I did! She shared this wine cellar project that contains almost exclusively vintage, salvaged, reclaimed & antique objects and materials – bravo!
P.S. That leather sofa (actually one of a pair) has bewitched me… body and soul.

I’m over the moon excited that we are welcoming Jennifer from Dimples & Tangles as our guest host this week!
I have a major, major style crush on this lovely lady and I’m just a little starstruck to welcome her to Thrift Score Thursday today! Her recent DIY tassel & leopard table runner post is such a great example of her killer decorating style!
Be sure to check out the finds and features from Cassie, Corinna & Trisha!
P.S. Are you a blogger who also love thrifty finds? We’d love to have you join us for a week of Thrift Score Thursday! If you’re interested, send me a message!
i need those hummingbird PBNs! oh my goodness!!! how did i miss that?!?!?! and i featured another find of sabrina’s- she’s a rock star!
Mmm, yes – those hummingbirds are amazing!
That leather sofa is amazing
Right? I think I’d die happy if I ever ran across one like that!
Those dainty jars are perfectly tasked with the hair tie management. I use apothecary jars and boy I don’t know how I managed without!
I’d drown in chaos with designated spots for things! I’m so messy! 😛
Sabrina is a rockstar. I stay jealous. I’m happy your containers made it. They’re beautiful. They remind me of little sugar and cream containers (without the spout for the cream one of course).
I’m so glad they made it home! There was a point where I had to check my carry-on because there was no more overhead space and I didn’t remember they were inside until it was too late… Glad they survived!
So much awesomeness in the features today!
I have those EXACT brass cranes! I’ve been debating whether to sell them or not, but I think in the name of responsibly decorating, I need to at least finish my home’s revamp before I decide which knick-knacks to keep and which to find good homes for.
Happy #ThriftScoreThursday!
Exactly! Better to hang onto them just in case – you never know when they’ll be the perfect addition to a vignette! 🙂 (Or at least that’s the way I tend to think!)
Those little pots are just adorable, I love the colors! And someday… SOME day I’ll find some brass cranes, they’re so chic! Thank you so much for having me today, Brynne. This is such a fun series and I love seeing everyone’s treasures!
Thank you Jennifer! It was so much fun to have you join us!
I believe your your covered jars are pots de creme
Thank you thank you! I think you’ve got it! I couldn’t think of that term to save my life 🙂
