Hey you guys! I hope you have been having a fantastic week! Welcome to the 64th week of Thrift Score Thursday, our hashtag party in celebration of thrifted finds and vintage treasures!
This week, we’re excited to announce a new feature of #thriftscorethursday…
Have you ever found something at the thrift store but needed a little advice for how to repurpose it or give it a new look? Enter #dearTST, an awesome new way to crowdsource makeover ideas for your thrift finds!
Tag your #thriftscorethursday finds with #dearTST to let the Thrift Score Thursday hosts know you’re looking for input – we’ll be featuring #dearTST submissions on our blogs and each host will chime in with our suggestions, so you’ll end up with a bunch of new ideas!
The Facts:
- You can share any thrifty finds with us – whether they hail from a thrift store, Craigslist, estate sale, garage sale, side of the road, or apartment dumpster! The fun, the funny, the awesome, the odd – this hashtag party is open to all!
- Feel free to use #thriftscorethursday any day of the week! We’ll be keeping up with the hashtag all week long to find our favorites for the following Thursday.
- Each week, Trisha from Black and White Obsession, Cassie from Primitive and Proper, Corinna from For My Love Of and I (plus a special weekly guest host!) will pick a few favorite thrift scores to feature! So please note that by linking up with#thriftscorethursday, you are giving us permission to share your finds via social media or on our blogs.
The Features:
I’m really loving this painting shared by Erica from Vintage Design Me (Instagram: vintagedesignme) – the light and dark contrast and angular lines, the slightly droopy and sad expression… Yep, she would have definitely come home with me too!
I think by now my love for embroidered art is pretty well known, so it’s no surprise that I’m dying over Heather’s finds this week! Can you imagine the labor and skill involved in creating these? Find Heather on Instagram here: gingerbeanmama.
Check out these stunning vintage faux bamboo dressers Nancy (Instagram: casacavaliere) scored (for 30% off too!) – aren’t they amazing?
We were lucky enough to have Maggie from Maggie Overby Studios join us as a guest host last week. This week, she shared another incredible thrift-score project! (Instagram: maggieoverbystudios) She found fifty crocheted pot holders for just $12…
And turned them into this incredibly whimsical and adorable tree sweater! She’s my hero!
My Find:
I was so happy to spot this adorable little vintage painting at Goodwill! It’s signed “Helen Richards 55.” I’m in love with the muted pastel colors!
It has little water spots all over the surface, which actually gives it a really neat effect…
So what have you guys been finding lately? I can’t wait to see!

Be sure to check out the finds and features from Cassie, Corinna & Trisha!
P.S. Are you a blogger who also love thrifty finds? We’d love to have you join us for a week of Thrift Score Thursday! If you’re interested, send me a message!

So many incredible finds this week! Such a lovely painting, I’m sure those muted pastel colors would look lovely against your perfectly pink master bedroom!!
I’ve tried it out in a few different rooms… It’s hard to decide!
fun new feature–yay! I super love those dressers, and that tree looks so warm and cozy now 🙂
I’m excited! I think it will be fun to see all the different ideas – we don’t plan to discuss them ahead of time!
