Good morning friends! How has this week been treating you? It’s been insanely busy over here lately, but in a good way. I did manage to sneak away to the thrift store for a few hours, but sadly I had to return home empty-handed. At least I had all your inspiring finds in the #thriftscorethursday feed to get my vintage treasures fill!

The Features:
Brandi (Instagram: brandinell) scored this lovely ornate gold mirror on a Facebook garage sale group. I just love the design! I’ve been keeping my eyes open for a great price on something similar for quite a while now, so I’m pretty jealous!
You won’t believe what Jess from Bright Green Door (Instagram: brightgreendoor) paid for this solid wood midcentury credenza! Just $5! She was able to adapt it as the perfect entertainment center for her home by removing the middle door. I love it!
Dena from Hearts and Sharts (Instagram: heartsandsharts) has quite a gift for scoring vintage treasures! I hope she bought a lottery ticket last week, because the same guy who sold her this gorgeous Milo Baughman hutch was also selling a crazy awesome Pearsall style sofa!
My Finds:
So remember when I mentioned my lack-of-vintage-treasures-finding this week? Yep. Zilch. Nada.
I thought it might be time to dust off another “Things I Didn’t Buy At The Thrift Store”…
I think we need to start a #thriftstoreunicorn hashtag! Sadly, these gorgeous magical creatures end up at the thrift store in disproportionate numbers, apparently forgotten by those who once passionately adored them. Do you know how much I would have adored this colorful piece as a child? Hopefully it can find a second-life with another unicorn-loving little girl.
This lion painting really had me torn. It was an original piece of art done by “Mona” in 1976 and I loved the charming imperfections of it. I tried envisioning it in an updated frame, but I just couldn’t decide if it was good-wacky-vintage or just wacky. So I left it behind. What do you think?
I think I really should have picked up this cute little cherry pie plate! I don’t bake pies… ever… But it’s just so adorable! But I’m trying not to bring home things I don’t have a good use/purpose for. #responsiblehoarding
What have you found recently? Whether you brought it home or not, I want to hear your thrifting stories!

Oh I want that mirror. It' would be perfect for my bathroom makeover 😉
I just love that style so much! Here's hoping we both stumble across the perfect ones!
yeah, i am kind of torn on the lion, too!! love the mirror! and i am always hunting for unicorns.
That lion is a real conversation piece for sure… Maybe I should have bought him just to hear people's reactions!
I think those pie plates are kinda cute. Even better if they're the kind that open you know when you surprise them with something unconventional like taco dip or caramel corn. Sneaky sneaky.
Now THAT'S a brilliant idea! Kicking myself for not bringing it home!
I can't hoard responsibly. That pie dish would have been MINE. LOL.
If I ever see one again I will definitely snatch it up!
Wow, that credenza is incredible!
$5?!!!! Oh my heck. I'm completely stunned.
