The Features:
the_decor _adobe shared her gorgeous collection of thrifted jewelry! I just love each of these pieces. Jewelry is something I don’t really keep my eye out for when thrifting, but I’m going to start!
Julia (Instagram: thericharmedlife) posted this vintage needlepoint throw pillow to my extreme envy! You guys know I have a thing for vintage needlepoint. And the colors and patterns in this one are so cool!
My Find:
I have to admit, I spotted this little lucite pencil holder at the thrift store a few weeks ago, walked around with it for a little while, and then put it back on the shelf because I didn’t want to wait in the long line for just one little thing. Of course I regretted it after I went home, so I was excited to find it on the shelf still the next time I made my way back to the thrift store!
It’s funny, because on the shelf under those fluorescent lights, it really looked more like a cheap plastic trinket. But when I got it home and cleaned it up a little it really shone for the fun little treasure it is. A little web searching revealed that it’s a pencil-and-mail-holder from Guzzini of Italy – so glad I got a second chance at it!
It has a few pen/pencil spots (with ink marks at the bottom that I couldn’t seem to get out) and then a few slots in the front for mail/papers.
So what about you? What have you found recently? Have you had any second chances for thrifted treasures?

The TST series just makes me sad that thrifting in Utah is so dry. You have NO idea! It's so bad. haha. Our classifieds and thrift stores are awful.
