The Features:
I’ve just got to spotlight these incredible brass tables Gretchen (Instagram: gretchperschk) scored because they are near and dear to my heart – a matching set for my Karl Springer-attributed coffee table! I just love them, especially paired with that gorgeous vintage lamp!
I just recently followed Chelsea from Style Mutt (Instagram: chelsea_stylemutthome) and I just love her incredible style! Check out this gorgeous dresser she shared with DIY leather pulls, easy to create from the belts you’ll find at any thrift store!
Here’s another gal with great style – Lindsey (Instagram: linnyjanevintage) finds awesome things and posts beautiful pictures! I just can’t get over this gorgeous vignette she posted composed almost entirely of vintage and thrifted objects. So inspiring!
My Find:
Tomorrow is our fifth anniversary, so I was feeling sentimental this week. Several years ago I picked this little frame up at the thrift store for probably a dollar or two and I left it exactly as it was – I love the gold frame and mint green matte. Inside, I placed some special mementos…
Story time: so it was a few days before our wedding and I was more than a little nervous about pulling off the whole thing (check our DIY wedding here). My family went out for Chinese food together and I just lost it when I opened my fortune cookie after the meal – two fortunes in the same cookie with THE MOST perfect message ever! It was literally just one of those freakishly perfect serendipitous moments! I laminated them with tape to keep them safe until I decided what to do with them.
I paired them with this key card from our honeymoon that I’m fairly certain we were supposed to return but accidentally ended up coming home with me… How sweet is that vintage key graphic?
Now it’s your turn to share! What have you found thrifting recently? I can’t wait to see!

Thanks Cassie! That story is definitely one of my "life highlights" – I've had the frame packed away since our move in 2013 and I finally remembered to pull it out!

Happy Anniversary! Oh my goodness girl, that is just the sweetest memento ever! Definitely a serendipitous moment! If we ever found a cute key card like that, it would have made its way home with us too!
Thank you friend!
I wish _I_ were the Gretchen who found those brass tables! And Happy Anniversary–love the fortune cookie story 🙂
Haha – I wish I were too! Lucky duck!
And thank you 🙂
What an incredible fortune duo! And it looks like they were made for the room key!
I guess it was just fate! 🙂
You gave me goosebumps! I absolutely adore tue fortune you received! So cool! And the way you framed it is superb. It is also kismet that the room key matched so well!
Jenni
Thank you Jenni! It's one of a short list of perfect coincidences that I really do treasure! And it's always fun to reminisce about!
