The Features:
Rachel (Instagram: creationsbyrachelw) shared her awesome collection of vintage finds and I would have unequivocally snapped up each and every one as well! The brass heron especially has my heart.
Turena (Instagram: tsfinds), Thrift Score Thursday participant-extraordinaire, shared this awesome peacock dish (platter? bowl?) as a #catchandrelease – an awesome item to photograph, share, and release back into the waters for other thrifters to find. Little did she know that I once wrote an entire blog called “I Love Peacocks” dedicated to collecting and showcasing my favorite peacock photos on the web. No, I am NOT joking. I still love peacocks, but I’m a little less obsessed now 😉
My Find:
Isn’t this the cutest little vintage perpetual desk calendar? I actually found two identical ones at the thrift store and snapped them both up – one for me and one for my mom. You turn the little globe once to change the date, and those little dials on the base spin to change the month and the day!

Cassie, I think you might have enough brass animal species to start a zoo. And I would totally pay to come visit… How cute would a brass animal zoo be???!
That desk calendar is the business! Such a great score….another piece of yours that can fit into any design scheme! I love the peacock, it is so hollywood and the colors it gives off! The owls are pretty cool too. Great Finds!….

oh, I love ALL THE THINGS! But I'm sort of obsessed with that desk calendar now. I can't stop thinking about it. not sure this is healthy. Must go to ebay now.

I totally missed that cute little owl & teal vase vignette last week! Girl, that calendar is ridiculously adorable and how sweet of you to gift one to your mom!!
