Good morning awesome people! Today is not only the fabled, fun and fabulous #thriftscorethursday, but it is also the day of my first contributor post over at Remodelaholic which I am beyond excited about. I mean, wait until you see what I made!!!
You will die.
In a good way.
Death in a positive sense.
I can’t keep you in suspense any longer…
I made a copper pipe candelabra! I’d absolutely LOVE for you to pop over to Remodelaholic and check out my post for a detailed tutorial and plenty of pretty photos!
Hopefully I haven’t totally sidetracked you from Thrift Score Thursday with the siren gleam of copper (second only to the irresistible allure of brass) and hopefully you have come prepared to party with us on Instagram and Twitter!
Just share a picture of any recent thrifty find on Instagram or Twitter (or both!) using #thriftscorethursday!
The Facts:
– You can share any thrifty finds with us – whether they hail from a thrift store, Craigslist, estate sale, garage sale, side of the road, or apartment dumpster! The fun, the funny, the awesome, the odd – this hashtag party is open to all!
– Feel free to use #thriftscorethursday any day of the week! We’ll be keeping up with the hashtag all week long to find our favorites for the following Thursday.
– Each week, Trisha from Black and White Obsession and I will pick a favorite thrift score or two to feature! So please note that by linking up with #thriftscorethursday, you are giving us permission to share your finds via social media or on our blogs.
The Features:
Shanti (Blog: Everyday Bohemian; Instagram: antishay) scored this vintage patio set for FREE on Craigslist (jealousy-inducing fact #1) and the view you are seeing in these photos is the view from her porch (jealousy-inducing fact #2)… that she gets to see everyday… while I stare out the back window at our weed-tree (jealous-inducing fact #3: this is a weed that we have let grow and grow to monstrous proportions until I’m very much afraid it’s going to start gaining sentience. But hey – you know what I bet Shanti doesn’t have? A weed-tree!)…
Here and Now Goods (Instagram: hereandnowgoods) tagged this vintage stitched art that totally stole my heart! It’s the most charming EVER! I can’t imagine the patience and dedication required to handcraft something like this! (I bet it was made by the type of person who doesn’t let a weed-tree grow in their backyard.)
I want the vignette in this picture to come to life and be in my house.
P.S. You will thank me for this later, but just go and follow hereandnowgoods on Instagram right now because: Beautiful horse pictures. Crazy gorgeous. And baby horse pictures. Crazy cute.
Finally, I just couldn’t resist sharing this midcentury wallhanging from my Instagram-soulmate (totally a thing) Sabrina (Blog: Retro Future Furniture; Instagram: futuristichuman). Once upon a time I hated fiber-arts with a passion, but then I found Jesus and learned how very very wrong I was. I would hang a midcentury mop on my wall any day.
My Find:
Surprisingly, not vintage. Are you shocked? Believe it or not, I do have items in my house that post-date the first moon landing, and I do enjoy a good thrift bargain regardless of provenance.
So when I found this perfect condition set of glass drink dispensers and stand for just $8, I scooped it up for future parties, punches, and sangria extravaganzas. Was I looking for a lovely glass drink dispenser duo at the time? Nope. But it was certainly fun to score them for a fraction of retail!
And now I want to hear from you! Did you thrift this week? What did you score?

Be sure to check out the find & features from my lovely cohost Trisha!
Congrats on that feature over there. What a beautiful chandelier. Love your lemonade stands too. What a great find!
Thank you so much Katja! 🙂
Love the candle holder! So cool, going to go over and see the DIY. Where is that couch? I've been thinking about it since you posted in IG. =)
Thanks Ashley!
The insanely huge tufted leather couch is sitting in my [very-full] living room pre-photography stage… It has been stormy for the last week which means no pretty indoor photography… grrr! But let's just say Brynne's list subscribers are in for a treat as soon as I get some sunny skies over here 🙂
Super cool project Brynne!!! Love love love it! I just died…in a good way 😉
Thank you Kristin! I'm glad it was the good kind of dying 😉
Great finds all around! Btw, I love the candle holder…there are so many ways to spruce it up and cater to different seasons….I just love a good piece that can stand on neutral ground.
Thank you Jess! You're right – it will be so fun to plan seasonal table settings around it!
And I think this week was one of my favorite thrift score thursdays so far – so many awesome finds!
You know I love the wall hanging!
It just cracks me up that one of the comments on there called it a wall mop… Now I can't unsee that, but I also still love it!
Squeeeeeeel!! Oh my gosh, I'm in love with your set Brynne!! Interestingly enough I picked up two different drink dispensers on two separate occasions that totally don't match. So I'm kinda jealous. Kinda.
Thanks Trisha! I mean – we don't really need two, but I love matching sets 🙂
wow that is a great idea for a candelabra!!
Thank you Trina! I'm just mildly obsessed with copper pipe 😛
Looks great! Remodelholic is lucky to have you ; ]
Aw, thank you Jennifer! I'm so excited to be there 🙂

That wall hanging is the bomb 🙂 Thank you Cassie!
Thank you soooooo much for featuring my patio set!! I just saw this and missed it somehow earlier — been a busy week. Thank you again!! I love your punch jars and copper candelabra – wooo!
Thank you for making me insanely jealous of your view 😛 That patio set was such a stroke of luck – love it! Thanks Shanti 🙂
You do need to make that vignette in the stitching come to life! Those hanging chairs are a current obsession of mine.
