Alright, guys, we’ve made that magical transition!
For me, Thanksgiving is basically a rite of passage to Christmas. Have you run the turkey gauntlet? Bathed in the fountain of gravy? Navigated the tricky maze of apple or pumpkin pie?
Good, then you may pass go, collect $200, and begin to speak of Christmassy things.
I promise, I’m not at all militant about it, so if you started pulling out the ornaments and blasting Josh Groban’s Noel in August, more power to you! I just have this huge mental block that makes Christmas seem far off and distant until the morning of Black Friday, at which point, oh my goodness – Christmas is coming and it’s only five weeks away!!!

So now I can finally share this DIY project with you guys that I actually completed for eHow a few months ago!
These mini sunburst mirror ornaments are incredibly easy to make with just a few supplies! I love the sparkle they add to the tree (okay, so I set up my Christmas tree in the garage in August to get these photos), but they would also make great gift toppers, don’t you think?

That is the best little ornament ever. And I’m a huge Elf fan by the way.
