December came and went. New Year’s came and went. I laid on the couch and ate Christmas cookies and watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
I had a fantabulous Christmas break.
I am considering turning into a professional couch potato and campaigning to change the world’s opinion on the appropriateness of baggy pajamas as work attire. So as I begin work on the relevant posters and rally speeches, I thought it might be fun to share a lot of slightly-grainy phone photos & Instagrams of what I’ve been up to since I cut communications on Christmas Eve Eve.
I made approximately one million cookies for Christmas Eve…
Both sides of the family came over on Christmas Eve for a Christmas cookie, hot cocoa, faux fireplace extravaganza…

Cream cheese spritz. Raspberry thumb prints. “Christmas Crack”.
I got new glasses!

Christmas day was a wonderful day spent with family!

We celebrated Bryan’s birthday at The Meddlesome Moth (our favorite Dallas place!)…
We spent a quiet New Year’s Eve at home with the world’s most adorable bottle of champagne…
As for December blog stuff, it was totally Christmas-centric, but feel free to catch up!
