That is some wonderful feedback, Robbyn – thank you! I definitely think they are best appreciated about where they are currently, but I might move them up maybe two-three inches just to gain some visual space between the bottom of the frame and the back of the sofa.

I know that it’s easy to hang art too high, so I was fighting against that impulse when I first hung these up. It’s a real science to get it right, I’m sure! 🙂

Brynne, I love your art and I would not move them higher. I have struggled with this same issue every time I hang art and finally asked a friend at an art gallery; his response? Hang them for the way they will be viewed MOST. If people are standing, eye level; if people are sitting lower the art to create a better experience. Just a thought . . . . I would love to sit and stare at them for hours!!

yay elephants! I’ve been off my game a bit this summer because things have been so busy, but I’m diving back in today. Older kids have their first piano lesson of the fall, which is the perfect time for Abe and I to hit a thrift store or two.

awesome features today! and i love your art above the sofa! i agree it needs to scoot up a bit, but the size, scale, color, style, everything is perfect!
