Thanks for the feedback Emily! There has been some progress in the painting department, but I don't want to spill the beans just yet 🙂 Suffice it to say, every part of it is covered in a certain unnamed color of paint and I'm plotting out a different colored design to apply on top of that…

That could be fun. If not that, then something more classic- I like the grey frame/white door option. Or keep the doors wood and paint the frame something classic like white or grey 🙂

Forgot to mention, if you are making a stencil– design it on the computer, print it out then trace (since the stencil blanks are semi-transparent) and trace with a sharpie– THEN go to town with the exacto knife.

I wonder if there is space for a layer like that–that wouldn't get messed up when opening and closing the doors. Then paint the border black and toe kick gold!
