Thanks for this! I am about to do a very old and beautiful lamp with Rams around the top- so much spray paint you can barely see the detail. I see the brass underneath. I didn’t know what to use. Here goes…

I definitely need to try this. I admit I’ve passed on items because I didn’t want to deal with removing the paint. However you made it look so easy. Will need to rethink my position on painted brass objects. 🙂 Pinned!

In reply to cassie @ primitive & proper. Oh yes! I'm sure it's incredible in brass!!! I wonder if spraying it off with a hose after the stripping gel has had time to do its magic would make it a lot easier? I can't wait to see!!!

i need to try this on my big sail boat!!!! someone painted it and i have always wanted it to be its original brass. when the weather is warmer i am on it!
