It's a cute nod to my ridiculous schedule. I made an earring frame out of window screen a few years ago too, so my display takes up an entire corner of our dresser. LOVE your antler idea. Very cute.

I hook my necklaces and earrings on the metal shelving rack in our closet- not quite as glamorous, but it keeps them from ending up in a tangled pile! Although lately I've started storing them in my car so I can put one on before I get to work, since my little guy likes to try to yank them off my neck (I wait till I drop him at school and then I put one on)
