It has been there for at least 35 years, going back to when it was Van Horn Plastics.

Once in the late 80's my mother bought "scraps" of plastic from them for a cutting board project we did as campfire girls. Scraps being around 8 1/2 by 11 inches and ranging from colored to clear. I'm not sure what all they fabricate, but I grew up in Des Moines & I've never heard of or seen other furniture from them.
