Wow–what an amazing home! I love all the artwork everywhere, the hand painted wall designs (it’s giving me some ideas for my bathroom), and how she’s made the oak totally work in the space and not feel dated.

I just began reading your blog and some of those you have linked and featured. I’ve always worked at making my home feel “gathered” and your blog speaks to my heart. My husband and I have been married 32 years and as we have replaced worn out pieces more recently we’ve moved from traditional to transitional style and your blog has inspired me to find ways to make the look complete. I’m a little eclectic and your blog is giving me confidence to just go with it. I have passed up beautiful, nice, quality things just because I didn’t think they were 100% like what I already have, but I’m feeling empowered to bring in a shiny or modern piece now. Thank you!
