I wish I had a good answer for you! That's not an issue I have personally run into, but my best guess is that perhaps it's a consistency issue? You could try thinning the paint with more/less water and testing on a piece of cardboard to see if that helps with the air bubbles. I hope you find a solution and wish I could be of more help there! :)

I am using the HomeRight finish max sprayer to paint my built-ins. I am using a pro-classic paint by Sherwin Williams. I am thinning the paint with water.

I am spraying but getting small air bubbles on my doors after I spray? Do you know what could be causing this! Should I thin the paint with something other than water? Not sure how to get those little bubble to stop?

You know, I did have some minor issues with stop and start spraying and I chalked it up to letting the sprayer sit in between coats and not cleaning the nozzle well enough. I actually haven't done another large-scale furniture painting project yet, so I haven't had a reason to bust mine out again. I'm sorry you've been experiencing trouble with yours - I wish I had some advice to impart!

I have the homeright sprayer. Same module, heard so many good things about it. Had a Wagner that I painted so many things with. I have had nothing but issues. From Paint just sticking to the brass tip to stop and start spraying. There is no consistency. It just takes for ever to complete a job with it. I never see anyone in the videos with this issue so curious to know if you had any. Yes I have thinned the paint beyond recommendations.

I haven't tried painting walls with a sprayer (any sprayer) before. I don't think this particular one would be good for the job because the paint reservoir is small and you would need to constantly be stopping to refill it (and thin the paint correctly each time). But it's great for smaller projects where you need a very smooth finished coat!

Great article - it really demystifies the paint sprayer. I think I'm brave enough to try it now... I saw a set of wicker patio furniture at the Goodwill outlet for $70...
